Story easy

Jake picked up a dog-eared magazine. Inside the front cover, in faded pencil: 'To whoever finds this — today is a good day. You are going to be okay.' Below that, a different hand: 'I needed this. Passing it on.' Then another, and another. A chain of strangers filling the margins. Jake read every note. When he left, he added his own words for the next stranger who might need them.
